Ingredients
- Rye whiskey60 ml
- Sweet vermouth22.5 ml
- Cherry brandy15 ml
- Absinthe7.5 ml

Description & Prep
Pour the absinthe into the chilled glass, swirl to coat the inside completely and discard the excess. Stir the rye, the sweet vermouth and the cherry brandy in a mixing glass with ice and strain into the prepared glass. The absinthe disappears as an ingredient but stays there in the background of the aroma. A political toast for a name, a fruitier and more perfumed take on a manhattan.
