Hemingway Special

Ingredients

• White rum60 ml
• Grapefruit juice40 ml
• Maraschino liqueur15 ml
• Lime juice15 ml

Description & Prep

Shake the rum, the grapefruit, the maraschino and the lime with ice and strain into the chilled glass. This is the daiquiri the way Hemingway ordered it at the Floridita in Havana: no sugar at all, double rum, and grapefruit bitterness where the sweetness would be. It comes out bone dry, and it is not for everyone.
