Ingredients
- Fino sherry60 ml
- Sweet vermouth30 ml
- Orange bitters2 dashes
- Ice
Garnish
Orange peel twist on the rim

Method
- Put the fino sherry, the sweet vermouth and the dashes of orange bitters in a mixing glass with plenty of ice.
- Stir about 30 seconds.
- Strain into a chilled coupe, no ice.
- Squeeze the orange peel over the top and drop it in.
About
From before Prohibition, low enough in alcohol to have more than one: the dryness of the sherry against the sweetness of the vermouth, no spirit in between.
