When you create an account: your email, name and photo, which come from your Google login. As you use Kooler, you can fill in a username, bio, Instagram and website, and, if you switch on a bar account, also WhatsApp, address and a reservation link.

What you favorite, what you keep in your bar, who you follow and who follows you, the comments you make, and the notifications you receive. All of that is tied to your account.

One cookie keeps you signed in, and another remembers whether you've already seen past the read wall. Your browser also stores some drafts and preferences locally: your bar items before they sync, the recipe you're writing before you publish it, and whether you've been through the app's intro.

We use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights to understand performance and overall site usage. That's aggregated data that doesn't identify any individual person.

We use Sentry to know when the site crashes or errors out: it records the browser, the version, and what happened in the code, without anything you typed or your session cookie.

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email and profile photo to create your Kooler account. We don't have access to anything else in your Google account.

If you fill in an address on a bar account, the search goes through our server to Google Places. We don't store that search, only the final address you confirm on your profile.

Recipes submitted by the community may go through AI-powered automatic translation to reach Kooler's other languages.

Your profile, the recipes you submit, your comments, and your list of who you follow and who follows you are visible to anyone who visits Kooler, with or without an account. Your email is never shown publicly.

We use Supabase for database and authentication, Vercel to host the site, Google for login and address lookup, and an AI provider to translate recipes submitted by the community. These services process data on our behalf, under our instructions.

We don't sell your data to anyone.

Our infrastructure providers may process and store data on servers outside Brazil.

You can access, correct, or delete your data at any time. Editing your profile lives in Settings; so does deleting your account, confirmed by typing your username. Deleting your account removes your profile, the recipes you submitted, favorites, bar items, comments, and follow connections.

If you're in the European Union, these rights correspond to the ones the GDPR guarantees. If you're in Brazil, to the LGPD.

We keep your data for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, the data tied to it is removed, except for anything the law requires us to keep longer.

Kooler isn't intended for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect data from that audience.

We may update this text from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows the latest revision. Meaningful changes will be communicated inside the product.
